Let’s face it, we all have a limited amount of time! So why should you spend your precious hours learning and playing bridge?

Bridge is a game which can be played by anyone, anywhere, anywhen! With online platforms you can now play with people from across the globe. If you fancy a game at 2am you can join the American’s for their evening game. If your bridge partner moves to Australia, no problem! Just play online.

Fun For Everyone...

No matter who you are, you can play! All you need is a computer and you are off. Bridge is played by people of all kinds, and is disability friendly. I have known people with severe disabilities find joy in the game. It can also help to build confidence and combat social anxiety (this time I am speaking from personal experience!).

Good for the Brain...

There have been numerous studies that show that playing bridge can help to keep the mind sharp and even help to prevent dementia! It is certainly excellent brain training and can help improve your memory, focus and planning skills. In these uncertain times online bridge provides a great way of staying social while still staying physically isolated. The tech is constantly improving to mimic the level of interaction available in real life! All of our sessions have either built in AV or uses zoom to provide chat and video.

You can grasp the basics of the game in a few months, but no matter how good a bridge player you become, there is always something else to learn. If you are looking for a hobby to last forever then look no further!

While there are many people happy to play at home or in a local club, if you are a little more ambitious then you can aim for international level competition. You might even find yourself competing at the World Cup!
